Michael Holstein began his career writing for HBO’s The Wire and marketing films like The Rock and Independence Day. After earning his law degree, he became VP of Business Affairs at WETA-TV, creating and producing shows including PBS NewsHour, Finding Your Roots, and Ken Burns documentaries. At Mesmeric Media and The Content Farm, he’s developed award-winning content for NBC, Bravo, Amazon Prime Video, PBS, and more. Michael’s series Live at 9:30 was shortlisted for a Producer’s Guild Award, and he received the Mayor’s Arts Award for Excellence in Media Arts. A three-time Real Screen Summit Showdown winner, Michael has taught at UCLA, Georgetown, American University, and the University of Miami. He is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America, the Grammys, and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
