After moving to Phoenix in 1976, she launched her own business, offering typesetting and design services to publishers and businesses. When technology disrupted the industry, she pivoted, founding 1106 Design in 2001 to help authors navigate the self-publishing revolution.

Today, she continues to support authors in achieving their publishing dreams, keeping their rights intact, and helping them earn more from each book sold.
