Amy Barrickman is a wife, mother, dog mom, interior designer, and business owner. She started her design business in 2010 and has been blessed with one problem: too many projects! She wrote The Living Room Design Formula as a way to help more people style and personalize their spaces. Amy’s design advice first became popular in 2019, when her sister challenged her to post one social media video each day for a month. Many people enjoyed the tips and tricks she posted, and the videos also caught the attention of the people at QVC, where she now appears as an on-camera design expert.  She is also a trained actress, having appeared in several feature-length and short films. Amy’s mission has always been to leave every space more beautiful than she found it. She plans to continue this through her book series, social media posts and hopes to someday expand her work to include a foundation that supports the beautification of the city of Philadelphia.
